What’s your pricing?
This depends on the size and detail of your portrait, but I do have a minimum project price of $850. I’ll send a quote your way after we have a chance to talk over the project, so rest assured we’ll agree on a price before we begin. If any changes to the scope of the portrait were to come up during the course of the project, I would approve the additional cost with you before moving ahead with the changes.
What’s your turnaround?
This varies based on the size and detail of the portrait. My current project load also determines how soon I’m able to start. Generally, once a portrait is started it can take between 6 weeks and 8 weeks.
What sizes are possible?
I can create portraits as small as 16 x 20 inches and as large as 8 x 8 feet. If you have your heart set on a size outside of this range, let’s talk and I can get a sense of whether we could make it work.
What kind of paint do you use?
For portraits, I usually use high-quality acrylic paint, but I’m open to custom requests (other than classic oils). I avoid using oils to keep chemicals out of my home and yours.
What types of surfaces do you paint on?
I usually paint my portraits on canvas or wood. If you have an unusual surface in mind, let’s talk it over to see what might work.
